Do you think it's normal to breast-feed friends children or those children who really need it? I'm sharply against it. If you don't have your breast milk, use artificial. People all over the world accuse America of depravity and this mommy just fan the flames.

Your reaction to this is funny.  Do you pick which cow you buy your milk from?

Breast milk is breast milk.  Something you might not know too, is that there are a lot of babies that won't take a bottle once they've gotten attached to the breast.

In days gone by, in elite households, the mothers had nannies and wet nurses for their children.  Even black slaves were wet nurses for the white babies.  It's really not a big deal.

People all around the world have been doing what she's doing, since creation.
How is this depraved?

Modern society has so overly sexualized the female body that we forget the real purpose for breasts.

I see no reason for outrage.... or even minimal offense.

I rather see this than Pamela Anderson in a bikini!

Excellent point!
And yeah, nothing more attractive than Bolt on Boobs.
Never could stand the bimbo, until I saw her character in the series VIP, and I must say, she nailed Bimbo to the T, and I actually enjoyed and appreciated her acting for the first time.
She redeemed herself somewhat.

From the link.

In response, 'Mama Bean' Louise posted a blog entry to their website in defence of wet-nursing as "a wonderful alternative to direct breastfeeding", and pointed to a list from the World Health Organisation, which put it above using milk substitute.

Wet-nursing is the practice of breastfeeding children that are not your own, or providing breast milk to other mothers to use with their children. It is a common practice all over the world.

"I understand that for many, seeing formula listed below pumping and wet-nursing might be very, very hard to read," the blog post read.

"I understand the frustration, grief and anger that so many moms feel when breastfeeding doesn't come easily to them ... or when breastfeeding feels like the hardest mountain to climb. I get it, I really do. But this innocent list wasn't compiled to shame moms.

"It was created — collaboratively by The World Health Organisation and UNICEF, I might add — to provide information ... to provide clarity ... to provide facts."

Ms Colletti also responded to the negative feedback, explaining that she had asked permission before breastfeeding her friend's child.

"She responded with an enthusiastic yes, because he was having issues with the formula his previous sitter had been giving him," she wrote.

"My friend struggled with breastfeeding in the beginning and succeeded for nine months. She was always very happy that her son had the nutrition and comfort he needed while she was working.

"Being able to breastfeed her little boy has created a special bond between us all, a bond I will always cherish."

I know a mom who had way more milk than her baby needed.  She pumped it and donated it to a hospital for their premie nursery.

A lot of babies don't do well on or are allergic to cows milk.

I don't know why they even post those pictures in the first place.  Just seems like a plea for attention.

I believe the picture is tacky and like you just a way to garner attention.
