2 easy recipes: TACO SOUP & Hot Spiced Cider

1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
1 standard can kidney beans
1 can pinto beans
1 can whole kernel corn
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
1 pkg ranch dressing

mix cooked ground beef with remaining ingredients. Do not drain liquid from cans. Let  simmer for 30 minutes.


Spiced Apple Cider
(For those cold days)

2 quarts Apple Cider
1/2 brown sugar ( may substitute brown sugar/splenda)
6 whole cloves
6 sticks of cinnamon
1 sweet navel orange, unpeeled, thinly sliced
2 slices of lemon, unpeeled, thinly sliced

Combine all above ingredients in large pot. Heat at low or simmer temp for about 2 to 3 hours.
serve hot. Makes 12 servings.

Tip:  Should you cook on high, the cider may become bitter.

I will share some others.

My fav are my deserts.   :P

My goal will be to share only fairly easy recipes which taste good.

Btw, I am going to make Taco Soup for The Souper Bowl with tostito scoups and an easy Velveeta Cheese Dip

The Dip will be 1 can of rotel diced tomatoes (original recipe) along with 1 pound of velveeta cheese cut in 1 inch cubes. Heat in small crock pot preferably or in microwave until hot and smooth.

We will have some other goodies.
