Breakfast is touted as being the most important meal of the day.  There has been times in my life when I didn't treat it that way.  (unreal weight expectations, motherhood, too busy)  But since I have been retired breakfast is not an issue.

This morning it was whatever veggies I could find in the fridge (a mushroom, 1/2 a tomato. and leftover asparagus) Saute in a little butter and then scramble in 2 eggs.  Have this with a small bowl of blueberries and my 3rd cup of coffee (don't judge).   This is a fairly normal daily breakfast for me.

What is your go to breakfast or do you just skip it....?

What is my go to?
Well, you know a ham and egg sandwich with hash browns is my regular. But that's only because you don't cook me steak and eggs every morning.
Luv you...
You know I like cooking my own breakfast anyway. Mine will soon change, I do it every now and then, I just haven't found anything easier, I hate prep...

Sir William loves breakfast sandwiches, so I got him a breakfast sandwich grill for Valentines Day. He puts in an English muffin, precooked sausage, an egg, and cheese, and says it makes the best breakfast sandwich he's ever had in five minutes, and it's so easy. He thanks me every day for it.

Is it specific for breakfast sandwiches?  How does it cook the egg?  Dying to know..  Toy

It's advertised for breakfast sandwiches, but you can use any ingredients you want. There are recipe books available with many alternatives.

As for the egg, the egg yolk must be broken, but it then cooks alone on the second (of three small surfaces) and slides right into the sandwich when done. It's very cleverly designed. Check it out on Amazon. I got the red Hamilton Beach model. They also come in a two-sandwich model.
