For some reason I felt the minimum wage was involved.
Yep, it screws up everything. Business generally do a 3-3-5 year plan, after that it's 10 years out, govt forces a wage increase and all Hell breaks lose, just like this CCP Flu crap, business is forced to sacrifice in hopes things improve.
This is why so many businesses closed up permanently, because they were already dealing with forced wages.

Just last Saturday I went out for some wings. I have a favorite joint and got 10 wings and a couple of PBR drafts with a 20% tip and it was still just $20. I can't imagine that would cost me with $15 minimum wage.

Unless they're well established, it would probably drive them out of business. Problem with M/W forced increases, everything goes up, so business can offset cost by laying people off.
It's soo frustrating that libs don't understand basic economics.

Not all of them are that stupid, but they prefer the narrative of "caring". Actual results do not matter.

Yep, all based in emotion, how they "Feel" is far more important than actual damaged outcome.
