It's virtually unheard-of for a current CEO of one of the world's major companies, let-alone a major oil-company, to suddenly go candles out

The news is still unfolding, but it looks like one of the airport's snowplow-drivers 'became disoriented' on the runway that Christophe de Marjerie's jet was using for takeoff.  A substantial amount of alcohol was detected in the snowplow-driver's blood-content.

My first thought is if a regime is so dependent on a single person to make their economy function then it is not a stable regime. Putin could spin this as Ukrainian terrorist attack or US assassination, I'm surprised "Ukrainian fascists" hasn't bombed any Russian civilian buildings yet like the "chechens" did.

But good riddance, another leftist antiamerican aristocrat dead.
