If I remember correctly you argued the very same point from the other side, stating libs are too stupid to absorb truth.
I no longer have the patience I did just 5 years ago, and the fact this guy claimed to be in his 40s shows you just can't fix stupid.

From what I could see he did not come in to debated.  He came in to push his agenda.  As he was all set up for cut and paste.

My purpose is not necessarily for the edification of the prog with whom I am debating. Most of them are, indeed, either too stupid, or too arrogantly ego-centric to learn something new. Econ is demonstrating the latter, since he cannot even bring himself to honor basic principles of debate. But, again, changing the minds of progs is not my purpose. (If it were I would have quit trying a long time ago as a useless gesture.)

I write for those who come later and read both sides of the debate. Those who read both sides - especially those who read but do not enter the debate - are sometimes willing to learn what makes the world, and humanity, tick. Those who do so may possibly become active themselves later as learned conservatives. Maybe few and far between, but worthy of effort, IMO.

I think you will find that is why Solar started this forum.

I guess much of that was my fault, because when someone comes in spewing outlandish bull shit, debating such nonsense actually justifies their crap as having validity.
Like a pedophile arguing that children, despite their age appreciate sex. Why on earth would anyone justify such lunacy and give their argument credibility?

That's where this guy sits, he's trying to justify debt spending is a good thing.
This post or thread ( i keep getting them confused) has been one of best informed I have read, even where it curved over to other grounds such as copy rights it was informative and had the facts to back it up. (well one side of the arguments anyway)There is so much plain b.s. written about the subject by people who have no idea what they are talking about, as Econ4Every1 has show us.  Reading about finances can be boring, I looked forward to reading this one. I hope a certain paul krugman gets the chance to read it, he needs to learn if he is going to write about it.

That about sums it up, which is why no one had any patience from the start.
