Very interesting. It appears market forces are working and universities are having to face reality. Of course, we have the leftist faculty losing tenured jobs and the hand wringing that goes with it. Sorry folks, the purpose of a university is to provide an education to assist people going forward and not provide tenured jobs for leftists.  Not addressed directly in the article is the fact that young people are making decisions to major in fields that will help them get a job. We may be turning a corner here and quite encouraging.

Yes they may actually be able to go out and get a real job after four years of college.

Bottom line money pays the bills, be it for a College or making a home and family.
