This is why my insurers have dropped me and the wife for the last 4 years.

Insurers helped cheerlead the creation of Obamacare, with plenty of encouragement – and pressure – from Democrats and the Obama administration. As long as the Affordable Care Act included an individual mandate that forced Americans to buy its product, insurers offered political cover for the government takeover of the individual-plan marketplaces. With the prospect of tens of millions of new customers forced into the market for comprehensive health-insurance plans, whether they needed that coverage or not, underwriters saw potential for a massive windfall of profits.

Six years later, those dreams have failed to materialize. Now some insurers want taxpayers to provide them the profits to which they feel entitled -- not through superior products and services, but through lawsuits.

Boy, ain't that the truth. They screwed the American public for profit, and why not?
It worked so well with auto insurance. I remember when Ca did it, the insurance Co's promised cost would go down because for the first time in history, everyone would be insured, and yeah. look how well that turned out...

I'm telling ya folks, govt is not here for the people, it's become a tool/weapon of crony Marxist to kill off capitalism and free mkts. and put an end to American culture.

Insurance companies were promised a profit to come over to join and support Obamacare, but for a limited amount of time.  Looks like they are in trouble, as several have dropped out of the program, which I believe was intentional, to get to a single payer.

The danger to America is not Barack Obama but the citizens capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

I agree. Insurance companies are for profit organizations and a smart CEO is not going to turn away from a guaranteed profit. They knew exactly what was going to happen and they took Obama's bribe. Single payer would be a disaster and would make the VA look like the major leagues.
