Just mouse over, expand the map in the upper right corner, zoom in and out and see what housing prices are for your area.
It just might be time to move to a better, more Conservative area?

And to think back 55 + years ago I paid 28.000$ for two lots.
With a three bedroom home with a detached double garage was on one lot and the other lot was for the kids play area all grass.

For years I could have sold the grass lot for over 50.000$ +

My parents bought a new home in the Sacramento suburbs in 1959 for $12.999.
I'm finding land cheaper in Montana than Idaho, which means libs have yet to spoil much of the state as they have with Idaho.

You will find in the Western ½ of Montana is the place most people live.  So land is cheaper in the other ½ half.  In the Western ½ there is a lot of green in the other ½ it mostly dry to desert.

Then you have the Montana Indian reservations.
