Title: I use Quicken
Post by: walkstall on January 08, 2017, 09:20:10 PM
For my book keeping.   I open it up tonight and it said I was 169.000$ in the hole.     As I do not keep that much in checking, I check back to see what was wrong.   It show I was in the red for the last 3 years.  Thing that make you go Hmmm...

After checking for 30 min. and could not find the problem I did a backup restore.  I always do a backup before closing Quicken.  The night before I did a reconcile of both accounts for end of month and saved it in a back up thumb drive I use for banking only.

Backups save you a lot of time and trouble.  I do a backup in Quicken and on the thumb drive before closing Quicken.
