Reading this article is a real eye opener, I had plans to visist the US next year, even saved $5000 for it, but now I don't even want to make another flight change at a US airport.

FATCA is such a bad law I can only postulate 3 conclusions

(1) The US Government has become a kleptocratic regime only after pillaging as much taxes as possible before inevitable collapse/revolution just like the African totalitarian regimes, same model just more paperwork.

(2) The US Government is totally inept/incompetent doing everything they can to keep the failing wellfare state/voting herds alive, though in their incompetence and radical socialist ideology they are only accelerating the collapse.

(3) the IRS are really demonic alien overlords and will soon merge with the IMF

This has only become an issue under the Marxist. I have a feeling all that will change when Conservatives take power and gut the IRS, EPA, NSA etc.
