If you're just looking for a JOB ...  more often than not, pretty intelligent people that have been run thru the wringer turn to what some would consider "mindless" occupations.   Driving a Truck, gives them plenty of time to think & decompress, for instance.   Delivering newspapers on a rural route...  one thing they have in common is mental free time, and limited interaction with other people.  A couple of years of that, and maybe you've gathered your thoughts well enough to jump back into the fray again.

If you do such a thing, get some tapes, disks, SDs or whatever... of stuff to listen to, instead of over-the-air radio.   Make the time profitable in the long run.   I like to listen to the Bible on SDs chips, or USB thumb drives.   Some people listen to old time radio broadcasts.
Good advice.
Another is, the innocuous job of envelope stuffing. I knew someone that made a good living at it, she was paralyzed from the waist down, so it's not like she got out a lot.
