This guy deserves all the punishment he has received. I was a Wachovia customer when it as purchased by WF. I immediately began to experience the sales efforts when I interacted with a bank employee and it was very uncomfortable.

I spent my career in sales management and I know a sales pitch when I hear and/or see one. Here we had bank tellers placed into high pressure sales requirements - with no training. If these people were "sales" people they would not be bank employees. Stumpf does not deserve to be in the banking business.

I opened my first account with Wells Fargo in 1959, was with them for 35 years, then they started getting screwy after deregulation, dumped them, went back in 2006 and customer service was horrendous. Dumped them again when they went PC all the while having a business account with BofA , another BS leftist company that bans Conservative businesses.
Now I do all my banking with a local S&L and they've been great.
Hope he rots in prison!

Sooo True! The product should be able to sell itself. If it can't, it's probably crap.
