Title: Dow records best point gain in history
Post by: Solar on December 26, 2018, 01:31:47 PM
Dims thought they could use the stock mkt as a weapon against Trump.
It's a volatile quarter, expect more ups and downs over the next few months.

Roller coaster rides are good for people looking to enter the mkt on a downside.

And if it's all down side?

It will always return. Buy low, sell high, and that's what many did, and now they're back because they wanted to get in while the getin wus guud.
Like I said, this will swing for a bit til they find another excuse to panic.

You make money on the long hall and always buy low.

Politicians should steer clear of market results. It is especially true since computers and their programmed actions are what drive the markets now.

Yep, it's too bad too, but what I hate more is the manipulators and insiders (Soros's and McCON-nels) that remove any chance of taking any real calculated gamble.

This explains a lot and makes a lot of sense. I had assumed, without really knowing, that it was day traders causing the roll o coaster effect to the likes that I had never seen.

I somehow missed Sups last sentence about computers.
Sups correct, and even the programs can be manipulated to do ones bidding in predictable ways as in a Soros currency crashing scheme, where he already knows the outcome and how the computers are programmed to react.
There are not a lot of mkt manipulators out there with his power, but it doesn't take a whole lot to screw things up in their favor.
I think it was probably around the early 90s the last time we saw a real stock mkt, since then, it's all been computer controlled. That's one of the real reasons it is no longer an indicator of the health of the nation, which was obvious when the left appointed the Marxist and oddly enough the mkt reacted positively to a shitload of stolen treasure being dumped into it (Fiat money), in the past, an act like that would have had negative results, but computers have no  soul, nor does it care what deficit does to the nation, their only function is numbers.
Hussein literally stole money from future generations, gave it to commie crony buddies to create a fraud industry "Green Energy" and Wall St loved it, despite the fact it was all built on a house of cards and Marxist policy.
