I am sure most everyone has seen that Amazon is raising its minimum pay to $15 per hour. There are other companies such as Whole Foods doing the same. Our favorite socialist, Bernie Sanders, is out there applauding the move as if his "movement" is responsible. Bernie, here is the truth. They are doing this because they have to to attract qualified employees with today's exuberant economy. Also, they can afford this because of the new tax law which allows companies to invest more in their employees. Of course, no socialist would ever admit this is beneficial to all and not because of government action.

Bernie Sanders will find out when he has to pay his gardening people more just to keep them.

Amazon raising the minimum wage to $15/hr is the good news for the workers. Here's the bad news.

QuoteAmazon's hourly workers lose monthly bonuses and stock awards as minimum wage increases

Amazon warehouse workers are no longer eligible to receive monthly bonuses and stock awards.

Amazon made the change as it announced a minimum-wage increase on Tuesday.
The change could make some longtime workers to make less money, according to The Guardian.

Looks like Jeff 'Bozo' fell to the pressure of the masses on this one.

The same thing happened when Seattle raised the minimum wage to $15/hr. The workers lost perks and actually made less money. Leftists never learn.
