Mega gas station food counters are on par with dedicate fast food businesses. But, it is not the food that is the problem. It is the poor customer service. Nobody is asking them to act like we are in the 50's with a paper hat and bow tie. Basic customer service is gone. We should not have to accept it, regardless of my over dramatized words on a forum.

Then why patronize? Try an actual sandwich shop, where all they do is specialize in one product.
If I want roof repair, I don't go to Homedespot, if I want an oil change, I don't hit a Jiffy Lube, I actually go to a shop I trust that specializes in my vehicle.
Point is, you get what you pay for.

Not everybody lives on the woods and hunts wild animals. Some of us have to partake in consumerism on a regular basis. It is not out of line to expect results for our money, even for low-end goods or services.

I don't hunt, nor do I waste my money on prepared food.
