Why is Hollywood remaking everything?
« on: February 21, 2018, 10:27:27 PM »
Can't they come up with original ideas?

We can give a pass to things like "Fuller House", because at least it's a next generation of "Full House". But, now they are coming out with a "Magnum, P.I." reboot.

Social Media are multi-national billion dollar corporations with foreign investors that are going unchecked with the power to effect our election process.

"Book burnings" have evolved into "de-plat forming". Its the same principles behind both: to eliminate accessible knowledge.

Hollywood either killed off real talent, or they died off, either way, the Conservative message is nowhere to be found, in its place we get anti-American bull shit full of leftist actors pushing a leftist agenda.
Notice how fags are less than 3% of the population, yet everything Hollyweird produces has at least one fag/tranny/it, pick one, and they're either a victim or hero.

Producing quality in that atmosphere only exposes the crap they do produce, so why do quality work at all?

I not even talking about Conservative shows. I just want a purely entertaining show I can enjoy without "diversity".

They are really pushing fat acceptance with "This Is Us". I like "Mike & Molly because at least she was entertaining on the show and her weight was not the main reason for her being on there.

I watch T.B.B.T. because it's entertaining. I used to think Mayim was normal (as normal as we could expect from her because she is weird).

Because that's all they have left.

SJW causes and remakes.

Hell they even re-made Fatty Arbuckle with Harvey Weinstein.

Mostly likely for money.

Secondly to appease SJW's by replacing white leads with black, gay, or other minority leads.

Isnt it all really just about the culture war, trying to change our traditional culture? They believe our cultural norms were invented by ppl so they can be reshaped. They dont believe in natural cultural growth.

"Hollywood" save money, all they do is change people.  Then they pay them a lot less money.  They don't have to pay writer and they own the movie rights from before.   Can you say a lot of minimum wage workers.

It's a safe bet. The decision maker needs to make the numbers look good so easier to market toward established audience.

Because they don't have ANYONE who has any imagination, much less write worth a damn.  Hell, they can't even do a good remake with it already written out for them and a template to follow.  I saw some of that Staying in with the Morgans...or something like that, last night.  Hollywood is pathetic if they try to pass that crap off as "entertainment".   And the snowflakes who think all they have to do is be born handsome, pretty, show off as much skin as possible in order to become an actor/actress.  They have NO concept of what it entails to be a REAL actor.  Unlike so many of their predecessors who worked at memorizing every line, and then added aspects to the character itself.

The so-called stars of today do nothing but throw temper-tantrums, whine, and abuse the people around them.  Most of them would fold if they went through the crap old-time stars did:

Old Hollywood forced its first stars to work long hours and take amphetamines in exchange for fame

What was it that attracted us to people like:  Gregory Peck, Katherine Hepburn, Shirley Temple, Bette Davis, Cary Grant, John Wayne, Elizabeth Taylor, Jimmy Stewart, Rock Hudson, Audrey Hepburn, Fred Astaire, James Dean, Gary Cooper, Ingrid Bergman, Frances Ethel Gumm a.k.a. Judy Garland, Barbara Stanwyck, Gene Kelly, Clark Gable, Sidney Poitier, William Holden, Grace Kelly, Ginger Rogers, Rita Hayworth, Lauren Bacall, Mickey Rooney, Natalie Wood, Glenn Ford,Deborah Kerr, Yul Brynner, Bing Crosby, Charleton Heston, Jack Lemmon, Lucille Ball, Tony Curtin, David Niven, Debbie Reynolds, Paul Newman, Donna Reed, Steve McQueen, Maureen O'Hara, Bob Hope, Susan Hayward, ...   Sooooo, what makes the good OLD actors stick out in your mind?  Who do you remember well?  What movies do you watch again and again...?

When they keep coming up with more and more channels that play only the oldies in tv series and movies...that should say a lot about Hollyweird snowflakes of today.  They're incapable of the quality and stamina to entertain.  Movie attendance is at a 2-decade low.
