When you get right down to it, it's an outdoorsman's match-up for the ages.

Ted ("subhuman mongrels") Nugent joins Sarah ("Won't Kill My Baby") Palin for Season 2 of her TV series "Amazing America." (If that show fails to have Nugent dangling from a helicopter with an air-cooled belt-feed Browning .50 in both hands as Sarah pilots them over a herd of running liberals, I am gonna be PISSED!)

Quote"Ted Nugent is not only a rock 'n' roll icon, but a true American outdoorsman who practices what he preaches," Mrs. Palin said in a statement through Variety. "His outspoken candor regarding America and our civil liberties is a breath of fresh air. I'm so excited he's joining me for an episode this season."

Mr. Nugent, meanwhile, had similar praise for Mrs. Palin, the former governor of Alaska and vice presidential hopeful.

"Sarah Palin is a great American and a great friend to freedom lovers everywhere," he said in his own statement, Mediaite reported. "She will go down in history as a strong, courageous freedom fighter for 'We the People' in this diabolical culture war. I am proud to stand with her."

Ted "the Nuge" vs. Ted Cruz. Lemme think about this for a minute or two....
