We have conservatives of all types and caucuses to serve the ideologies of all potential Republicans. There is actually a caucus directed at Tea Party Conservatives. Anyway, y'all look like a rather active community and I'd much appreciate it if you came on over and joined us in advancing our conservative cause against the left in our political simulation!  Just ask to join us here  XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
and I hope to see you there!

We have no interest in joining the GOPe at this point in time, simply because we're in the process of stealing from the Fucking leftists.

I saw that crap as well, which screamed "Big Tent BULL SHIT" all over again.
The GOP just needs to accept the fact that the base, the very Conservatives they're attempting to shut out, is Hell bent on taking over the party for the first time in history.

There is no such thing as "All Kinds of Conservatives".

Serious question Allen
I'm curious Allen, what is the real motivation behind this project?
The reason the party collapsed was because they tried the "Big Tent" approach, but the left already did that by dividing the nation on virtually every aspect of life.
From race, religion to morals and social programs (socialism) and now we have the GOP infested with Marxist appeasers giving the left everything they ask, and more, so what makes this little experiment in "Democracy", for lack of a better descriptor, worthy?
Why should the GOP once again water itself down with a bunch of moderates, or am I looking at this the wrong way?

I've never done Reddit, so not certain what to expect.
If you can convince me this is a worthwhile project, I'll promote it for you.

"The reason the party collapsed was because they tried the "Big Tent" approach, but the left already did that by dividing the nation on virtually every aspect of life."

I disagree, Reagan was able to unite the right under very sound principles. We started failing when we allowed the Necons to jack our government and make us no better than the Democrats. At one point, the Libertarians and the social conservatives knew how to get a long. Hell we could even get moderates to tow the line. Now we are faced with the fact that we are losing the younger generation. We are too focused on kicking out anyone that doesn't fit our narrow view of Conservatism to the point that there is no real member of the GOP.

Even during Reagan's terms, the dim party still had Conservative Reps, as did the GOP, but since Reagan that all changed, the GOP is now packed full of what can only be described as the enemy/Marxists, people that would sell their own mother for a profit, or trade for a stay out of jail card.
No, we have not lost an entire generation, rather the left has betrayed an entire generation, which is why the Dim party's base is at historically low numbers.
The Dim party can only be described as the party of Fabian's, Marxist by another name.

It goes back to before the 'So Called moderates,' screwed Goldwater and helped LBJ win the election, paving the way for Nixon and his destruction of the gold standard and creation of the EPA and that's just the short list.
Stick around son, we may be a tough crowd, but by God, we pull no punches and alway tell the truth, it's what Conservatives do, and teaching the younger crowd the facts is all that matters for them to come to their own conclusions.

Point is, the GOP is now just a leg of the Dim Marxist party, a party we're Hell bent on stealing from the Establishment.

I was just exchanging blows tit for tat. If you can't handle being called out for your sympathies of Marx then I suggest you step off.

The gold standard is deflationary. It is bad for growing the economy. We're better off without it. The EPA is a disaster and takes power away from the states. So does most of the nonsense scheme created by the federal government. If you aren't willing to educate young people, then you have no right to complain when they tell you the opinions they know and stick to them.

I have no idea what you're talking about, that's why we have a quote function.

QuoteThe gold standard is deflationary. It is bad for growing the economy. We're better off without it.
You're extremely ignorant on the subject, or you would not have much such a leftist statement. Or is it that you're an actual Republican and have no issue with an unfunded debt in the hundreds of trillions of dollars?
Because that's what taking us off the gold standard did, it allowed govt to grow exponentially and become oppressive.
At some point that bill will come due, you better pray you aren't alive when it comes due.

QuoteThe EPA is a disaster and takes power away from the states. So does most of the nonsense scheme created by the federal government. If you aren't willing to educate young people, then you have no right to complain when they tell you the opinions they know and stick to them.
Again, had Nixon not created the monster in the first place, there wouldn't be an issue, but with a blank check and an out of control Congress, they can create any monster they want.
Go back to the gold standard, and govt will be forced to shrink and work within an actual budget.

Like I said, I'm certain you're well intentioned, just haven't any historical perspective, but in a few decades you will know what we're talking about.
