I guess I lost track of his career after Prizzi's Honor, in '85... and beforehand somewhat.
But his performance as a burglar-turned-bodyguard in the T.H.E. Cat series is a masterpiece of noir camp.

Loggia was a utility player who could make you believe he was whoever the script called him to be. Facially more expressive than many of his 1960s contemporaries (three-fourths of all westerns), Loggia was somebody you WANTED to see. Rest in peace, trouper.
