I'll be damned, all these years I had no idea she was a fellow Ginger, after all, all we had was black and white TV.
RIP Maureen, you brought us hours of great memories.

As I remember Maureen O'Hara and John Wayne always got to kiss in there line of work.
A greater-than-great actress. I'm not really sure what my fave performance of her's is. Probably The Black Swan, where she lost a bet and finally had to call Tyrone Power's character 'Jamie' at the end, after calling him all sorts of names thru-out the film in her usual fiery, huffy manner.
My fave O'Hara scene is in Commanche Territory, when Macdonald Carey accidentally spoils her shooting-contest outside of a bank. Then he enters the bank to deposit a check... only to discover she's president of the bank.
That 'wild and untamed' personna...
