I'm there..... let me know how I can help or whatever....

Hiya, Elfster! One presumes you and your'n are all having an incredibly crappy weekend at your getaway palace. May it be just awful like all the others, and, and....

Inside jokes aside, milady, the only help that will do me any good is probably going to come too late. Obamacare won't pay for a brain transplant.

Conservative sites, (or anything against Obama), crash on me all the time; I'm kind of used to it. I can get access after 2 or 3 tries, but it's a regular occurrence.

I don't think there's much question that there's an all out war against conservatives, Christians, constitutionalists. Obama's leading the charge.

The truth of it is, I will never know exactly WHY that account was killed. If in fact it actually WAS for using a pen name, then all I need do is point out how so many other sites do exactly the same thing. I merely admitted to it, and told the truth that the name was a fake. That and I dared to advertise something. I'll bet you never see Facebook sites for THAT one, right?.....

(Sounds like a junior college ethics class taught with fun-house mirrors, doesn't it?)

I am not familiar-enough with Facebook to say this is hard fact, but it APPEARS that in order to post directly at Kari's site (uh, "fan page"), I would have to have a Facebook page under my, uh, real name. If I had one, how long before they killed it, for me not posting enough about myself?

Trust me. I visit political sites. I know overblown egos when I see them, including mine.

Yes, you would need your own FB page, you can choose what name you want.  I had a friend from boards long past who did not want people on the internet knowing her real name, so she goes by Jenny Wondertart.

On the fanpage, I have the option of posting as myself (a regular fan) or oddly, as you.  If I don't post as you, items can't be shared, no sharing = no new fans.  I ALWAYS sign my posts though, so while it says Robert D Rose, people will hopefully understand that it is not.  You would have the same option, to post as a fan (whatever name you register as) and as RDR.  However, I know how you feel about fb, so I don't mind posting things as you wish.

For me, it's not so much political sites, but specific stories that paint Obama in a bad light; Forbes.com, WSJ.com, are two of the regulars that get shut off when I'm trying to access a particular article.

Quite frankly, with the latest news of the IRS taking part in throwing the last election, spying on reporters, the NSA collecting all of our information...I really don't know what the f**k is going on, or how widespread it is.

I know this...throughout history, when governments engage in this type of behavior, it's never turned out well. People die.

Even us conservatives have a way of lulling ourselves into thinking that the constitution is set in stone...Obama doesn't see the world that way. Everything is subject to change; by force if necessary.
