Elmer's going away for the weekend. Won't be posting or reading. Boy will I miss it! If I get one of the coveted CPF awards, like smartest lib or some such, please hold it for me. I will definitely be back. And I will definitely put it on my resume if I am blessed with one of those awards!

Maybe age is catching up with me and I'm getting less patient or my standards are going up but contentless snark is very quickly earning lefties a place on my "don't read" list. If it's clever snark or snark with some worthwhile content that's one thing but the sort of responses elmer's been firing off the last week or so are causing my eyes to glaze over when I see his handle.

My apologies. I just figured that people who dealt snark as much as CPFers do would be able to take it as well. Especially when that snark was of lesser quality. My bad.

Also Solar isn't going to ban you for making unsupported statements from the left. Think about it. You are reinforcing a stereotype here that everyone already thought. Why would he ban that?

Someone who looks at today's Republicans and knows them for the spineless appeasement artists that they are. Someone who believes in gridlock as a GOOD thing, a positive set of brakes on our runaway government.
Someone who knows neither party is any good whatsoever. Someone who also fears any changes to our Constitution, trying to undo the damage already done.
