This makes complete sense and I hope it does start a trend. State control of land would mean the wishes of the people of that state would have a choice as to how resources are used. I have no problem with Gov. Cuomo declaring no fracking in NY if that is the desire of the citizens. I am sure citizens of other states would not opt for PC use of their lands.

It's a sovereignty and states rights issue.
