Subject: Moving to Mexico

Dear Honorable President Obama,

I am planning to move my family and extended family to Mexico for my health, and I would like to ask for your assistance.  We are planning to walk across the border from the United States into Mexico and we will need your help to make a few arrangements.

We plan to skip all of the legalities such as visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws.  I am sure Mexico can handle those things the same way you do here in the United States.  Please contact and tell Enrique Peña Nieto, President of Mexico, that I am on my way over.

Please tell Enrique Peña Nieto, President of Mexico, that I will be expecting the following:

1.  Free medical care for my entire family.

2.  English speaking government officials and staff for all services I might need whether I use them or not.

3.  All Mexican government forms printed in English.

4.  My children taught Spanish by English speaking (bi-lingual) teachers.

5.  Schools are to include classes on American culture and history.

6.  The U.S. flag is to be flown on one of the flag poles at schools.

7.  My children are to be fed at no charge both breakfast and lunch at school.

8.  A local Mexican driver's license so that I can get easy access to government services.

9.  I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico; however, I do not plan to purchase car insurance and I will not make any special efforts to learn local traffic laws.

10.  In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from President Nieto to leave me alone, please be sure that every Mexican patrol car has at least one English speaking officer.

11.  I plan to fly the United States Flag from my house top, put U.S. Flag decals on my car and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th.  I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the local Mexican people or Mexican government staff.

12.  I want a nice job without paying any taxes or have any labor or tax laws enforced on any business that I plan to start after my re-location to Mexico.

13.  Please have President Nieto inform and tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice and never say critical things about me or my family or about the strain we might place on the Mexican economy.

14.  I want to receive free food stamps without restrictions.

15.  I will expect free rent subsidies.

16.  Although I will and do not pay any Mexican Taxes, I will need Income Tax Credits so that I will receive money from the Mexican government.

17.  Please arrange that the Mexican Government pays $4,500 towards helping me purchase a new car.

18.  Please enroll me free into the Mexican Social Security program so that I will receive a monthly income in retirement.

I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all of President Nieto's people who walk over to the United States from Mexico.

I am sure that President Nieto will not mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.

Thank you so much for your kind help.

Pretty much.  You drive south of Tijuana and that's about what you'll find.

I have only been in Matamoros Mexico by way of Brownsville Texas about 55 years ago.   Even back then it was a hole different world when crossing the border.

I see what you did there.

Yeah, Mexico is pretty bad, unless you live in one of the bigger resort cities.  A lot of poverty there.  Its a shame too, it could be a beautiful country if it wasn't so corrupt.
