Title: First recorded death in a 'self-driving' vehicle
Post by: MACMan on June 30, 2016, 07:51:51 PM
QuoteFederal officials say the driver of a Tesla Model S using the vehicle's "autopilot" automated driving system has been killed in a collision with a truck, the first U.S. self-driving-car fatality.

When it comes to land vehicles, I'll take my chances driving without any 'help' from an 'auto-pilot'.

It sucks to be the first statistic of unknown diseases, or known for a traitorous act like Benedict Arnold only to have these acts committed in the future to be tagged with your name, which brings me to my point, all deaths by autopilot will be referred as a Baressi, seeing how Frank Baressi, 62 was the first to win the award.
