This is some crazy stuff, y'all.   This is just an example of a kid being a kid and the people who deal with kids in that school are supposed to know how to handle those situations.  The report clearly said that he was suspended but the complaint on his permanent record reads differently specifically stating that the boy's error was of a sexual harassment nature.  Going too far on this one folks.  There's too much else that the little boy could have brought to the classroom for me to raise an eyebrow much less brand him for life as a pervert.

That's progressivism at work and we ain't seen nothing yet.  Wonder what the outcome would have been if the same 6 year old boy had kissed another boy on the cheek or hand?  In today's thinking and actions, I can hazard to say , nothing, they'd probably make him pupil of the year.

This is just over a year old.   (Oct. 9, 2012)

Ryan Gibbons was only 12 years old when he died from a severe asthma attack during recess at school. He would have simply reached for the prescription inhaler that he always carried with him, but his school took it away and locked it in the principal's office.

ABSURD.  Of course.

(I'll presume there was an overstretch and there isn't an UNDERLYING issue and more depth to the story with this kid and that it wasn't a repetitive situation.  Bullies or 'mashers'--kids or not, no one--BOYS OR GIRLS need harrasment in the school yard).

The story I heard on the news last night said he kissed her on the hand.  How can that even be Sexual!  These schools have gone way overboard.

Most unfortunately, some 6 year olds are sexual way before there time.  I'm off the opinion something very bad is usually going on in the home.

(I had a young girl neighbor who exhibited sexual behavior well before I understood what the hell it was.  Even kept her from acting out once on my kid brother.  No we didn't tell our parents--then.   Years later I found out what was going on with her daddy!  The SOB got to live upright till old age).

I'm afraid this isn't all that new.

It happened to my daughter at age 10.  She kissed a boy during lunch, and I was told she had to attend a sexual harassment course.

I refused and told them they were ridiculous.  I told my daughter not to do it anymore.

I get the zero-tolerance shit but I also get that EVERY situation must be looked at with some common sense handling.  Back in our day, we had to erase the blackboards you had to apologize to the kid you offended.
