Title: RINO Retirement thread
Post by: Solar on January 09, 2018, 07:22:33 AM
Another RINO is out.
Truth is, the country is sick to death of leftists in both party's.

GOP Rep. Ed Royce of California, (F 48%) who chairs the House Foreign Affairs Committee, announced Monday that he will not run for reelection, making him the seventh GOP committee chairman to forgo seeking reelection since President Donald Trump took office.

Royce, who terms out as chairman this year per committee rules, is the latest in a string of prominent Republican lawmakers to decide against running for reelection.

"In this final year of my Foreign Affairs Committee chairmanship, I want to focus fully on the urgent threats facing our nation, including: the brutal, corrupt and dangerous regimes in Pyongyang and Tehran, Vladimir Putin's continued efforts to weaponize information to fracture western democracies, and growing terrorist threats in Africa and Central Asia," Royce said in a statement. "With this in mind, and with the support of my wife Marie, I have decided not to seek reelection in November."

He joins 29 fellow House Republicans who have announced they are retiring, seeking another office or stepping down effective immediately since President Donald Trump entered the White House.

From Pizzagate, to pandering and every conceivable treasonous act in between, the nation is puking them out like bad potato salad that sat in the sun for a week.

I believe Trump sat down and asked Ryan "do you want to enjoy a nice retirement.......... or do you want to be officially questioned about your involvement in the Awan coverup, and the sex-payoffs-hush-money coverup ?".

Trump wins again.  Just don't let Boehner's boy McCarthy become speaker;  we said no to him already.  Scalise or somebody more conservative than him.

Next up, shitcanning Bitch McDongpull.  If Trump knocks out both of these assholes, I will be terribly impressed.

Nine (9) things about Ryan's walk we should probably consider...( *look at #6*)

One symptom that the republicans cannot find their asses with all hands is that  THEY COULD NOT FIND ONE AMONG THEM WHO WANTED THE JOB OF SPEAKER, (one that was half-qualified), and another is that republicans are forever RUNNING CANDIDATES WHO SIMPLY CANNOT WIN.  The republican brand is close to sucking.......... mud.

First, ben shapiro seems to be convinced a blue wave is coming cuz he believes the polls that everyone hates trump. There is no good evidence of this blue wave and no one can give a good reason for why it shld happen. In fact it the tea party that seems really fired up right now. Ben also seems somewhat sympathetic to the establishment GOP even tho he isnt part of the swamp.

Second, as to the republican brand sucking, i agree. But it still sucks less than the dems. In general, Havent the gop been steadily winning more elections than lost since 2010?

In the Trump era the GOP has consistently under polled. I understand history tells us the party in power lose congressional seats for the mid terms. However, history also tells us democrats do not normally turn out for mid terms. The GOP controls their own destiny this year. It will prevail if it runs good candidates, energizes the base and does NOT shoot themselves in the foot.

Everyone says that like its just a given. Maybe im wrong but the very last time we had this same situation, first midterms with a new gop prez, (bush 2002), didnt the gop win those midterms against the dems, in defiance of popular political wisdom? Lets just do that again...

Excellent!
But note the sites blatant disconnect from reality by this little commentary.

"Bottom line: Congressional Republicans are being forced to wage a two-front war, within their own party in spring primaries and against ticked-off Democrats in November. The first pins them firmly to President Donald Trump's side – which could increase their vulnerability in the general election."

I do not doubt his fiscal conservatism. However, in my view, he is one of those faux conservatives who cannot be trusted. Below is a synopsis of him when I researched members of the Freedom Caucus:

"Mark Sanford of South Carolina has served in the House of Representatives since 1995. He has been a vocal critic of Donald Trump, saying in February 2017 that Trump "has fanned the flames of intolerance," according to The Washington Post."

Yeah, that's why I said in my other post "I get it". What I don't understand, is how can a true Conservative not get that Trump is an Actual patriot?
Sanford has a great record, but to remain a nevertrumper in the face of the evidence that Trump has done only good for the Nation, is either a blind partisan hack, or an establishment appeaser.

It is time to step back and review what happened in the senate in the mid terms. I figure it to be a very big success. It appears there will be net pickup of two seats for the GOP. That doesn't seem like much, but in reality it is. Here is why:

1) That number means Collins and Murkowski cannot hold the senate hostage.
2) Flake, Corker and McCain are not part of the senate.
3) Nelson, Heikempt, Connaly and McCaskil all replaced by republicans.

Now, McConnell has no excuses.

That's the thing, the RINO is nearing extinction, solely based on the dwindling numbers since the inception of TEA, which has grown exponentially ever since. It's only a matter of time before they either join us, or get physically removed by the constituency.
We're done with the lies and the vote proves it.

A possible opportunity in NC to replace a RINO.

https://wlos.com/news/local/eastern-carolina-businessman-announces-bid-for-us-senate-vs-senator-thom-tillis

Tillis replaced Kay Hagan in 2014 which was a step to a GOP majority. He has turned out to be what many thought. He likes to sing the conservative song, but is out of tune. This would be sweet if he loses in the primary. The one issue I see with the challenger is that he is not well known.

So many RINOs jumped on he backs of the Tea Party to get into power that they diluted the movement. Flushing them out is a great thing but even a Neoconservative is better than a liberal so let's make sure we get someone electable.

Just what is a "Neoconservative" other then a liberal, RINO or out and out Dem?   Being Conservative is not like being a little pregnant.

Though a bit dated. I wrote this years ago, long before we ever heard of a Trump run. But the point still stands, the RINO helped the left, so in truth, they are leftists, there is no such thing as a moderate, they're leftists without a spine.
