We all know California is hopeless. Nonetheless, there remains some political wiggle-room to run a conservative/right-wing campaign in the state in 2018, make some waves, and perhaps preserve hope for the future. The two major races are for governor (to replace Jerry Brown) and U.S. Senator (the archaic Diane Feinstein is running again, against invader/colonist Kevin DeLeon.) But there are also down-state races. Republicans are so depressed and defeated in this state that various offices (such as Controller) may not even have a GOP candidate show up next year.
Any campaign that hopes to break the mold and rattle some cages will have to emphasize the following:
Immigration: Stress that we allow entry (in moderation!) to immigrants, but we reject colonists. To those who come here to be agreeable national citizens, we say "welcome,"; to those who seek to become alien settlers, our message is "sorry, country occupied!"
Economics: The state's leftist tax and spending regime is strangling, suffocating the normal, good people who once made this state great. On purpose. We reserve the right to self-defense to shake off the parasites and thugs who seek to carve out their sustenance from our hides.
"Culture Wars": The state's leftists are busy eating themselves alive as their voraciously crazy ideologies (feminism, "trans"ism, communism, etc.) require greater and greater exertions from their acolytes. We remain on the sidelines as these insane people quarrel over their bizarre beliefs, pointing out the destructive nature of their cretinous creeds, always aware that any "winner" will seek to destroy us normals next, in the hope that a majority of the state's regulars will come to their senses and shrug off these freaks for the final time.
Is there any California candidate who will make this case? Or am I going to have to run?

Run. As a Ca native, I can attest to the fact that all the gop'E run in this state are leftist RINO, because that's all the party is as a whole.
I'd run, but I truly hate all the scum in both party's and would probably go postal on the lot.
