Funny you mentioned one of the strongest dissenters of anything that smelled like Bozo the Clown. Cruz made enemies out of most of Congress with his aggressive attitude of expelling anything having liberalism attached to it. His dissenting votes on many issues was not the only votes cast.
Mitch needs him back in the Senate. Look for him to run to the right of Atilla the Hun...
