Heard him on the local talk radio. Sounds like an ok guy, favors some positions I wouldn't.

But, no candidate is ever going to be perfect. :)

Two issues, one is open borders Libertarian platform, the other could be a deal breaker with the rest of the country.
He's atheist. To me, being an atheist in politics, says more about your lack of understanding of the majority than anything.
How can one honestly defend a Right, they refuse to believe in?

Only leftists and the MSM try to link libertarians with conservatives. There are just a few marginal issues of agreement.

I've always seen LIBertarians as the result of oppressive liberal govts which result in anarchism and no govt.
It's why it'the LIBertarian movement is packed full of libs, they can't stand the mess they create so they want a mess without laws and govt.
Though I do see a difference in the original movement as opposed to what it always becomes, which is why I always use San fran as an example of what happens when Libertarians are in charge, it eventually winds up being the oppressive lib govt they attempted to escape.
