This was so delicious.  Hagan is history.

I live in North Carolina, and I think you're right.  Obamacare is very unpopular here, and she has some pretty pathetic quotes.  They are going to punish her in the election for it.  Other than liberals liking her because she's liberal, I see no basis of actual support for her here.  And in North Carolina, liberals need some cross over to win.  She rode the W fatigue wave in.  I think the only reason she's even in the polls now is she does have name recognition, and the Republicans don't.  But that's going to change when there is a candidate.

As another North Carolinian I agree with you. She has done nothing but vote the way Reid and Obama wanted her to vote. Once the GOP has just one candidate the polls will continue to imrtove.

Kay Hagan is doubling down on Obamacare. Of course she made these comments in San Francisco East (Asheville) for the base. However, it indicates she has accepted she cannot run away from her support for Obamacare and is just hoping for the best.

A pro-Obamacare Dem running in a red state that tightened up voting rules; I am so loving this.

And Republicans have been doing endless radio advertising on what a disaster Obamacare is for people and that Kay Hagen still supports it.  The latest is they are advertising that she is with Obama wanting to bring Obamacare to the mortgage industry, call her office and tell her to stop.

Nice.  I'd like to see them put out there that doctors and nurses will be unionized.  That would give us a nice little kick.

Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund as officially endorsed Brannon:
QuoteRaleigh, NC – The Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund, an organization dedicated to empowering Americans to engage in our democracy and help preserve our rights and liberty, has announced their endorsement of Dr. Greg Brannon in North Carolina's Republican primary for U.S. Senate.

"Dr. Brannon has a vision, one where North Carolinians and all Americans live in a country with personal freedom, economic freedom, and a debt-free future. Greg is physician with a compassionate practice and a servant's heart; many North Carolinians know that. But it was his passion for Constitutionally-limited government that made him the obvious choice for our endorsement," said Chairman, Jenny Beth Martin.

Sounds great.  My rant is not directed at you Bow.
But this is somewhat of a pet peeve of mine, we're not a damned Democracy, we're a Republic.

No problem....just wondering though, in the context of that quote would "engaging in the democracy" not be correct?  We are a democratic republic but you can't have the democratic part without some form of democracy....right?

No, were a Republic, it was the leftists that added Democratic to Republic.
If memory serves me correctly, it's always been referred to as a Republic until a few decades or mere back.

That's one...vote for Brannon.  Early voting opened in NC today and I just got back from casting a CONSERVATIVE ballot.
