Former CEO of Dollar General, led a huge turnaround. Has years of successful business experience. Is not afraid to call out his incumbent Republican opponents on their records of failure.

Strongly conservative on the issues, and looks like a candidate who can appeal to the base and the independents.

If Perdue is the nominee, I think the Nunn campaign is DOA.

What do you think?

He supports Dodd-Frank.  He says health-care needs to be handled at the federal level.  He supports the internet sales tax.  He supports common core.

Swing and miss, LiberalGirl.

Sarah Palin showed to campaign for Handel in GA. Perdue has been clearly identified as a RINO. With so many on the race he may move along, but Palin's support will carry some weight in GA.

I actually am inclined to agree with Perdue's comment about a college degree making one a more serious candidate. I agree with Michael Savage - there is an extent to which education matters - makes a difference.

Wrong.  Education has nothing to do with a college degree.

This is encouraging to me as I have been concerned that the GOP primary could be a killer for retaining the Chambliss seat in our column. It seems the GOP primary has not been as divisive as it possibly could have been. Also, it is clear Obamacare is an albatross around Michelle Nunn's neck. She obviously wants no part of it, but is reluctant to be openly critical of it.

No Chance Without Paul

I think Perdue is the better candidate. I was actually supporting Dr. Broun in the primary but it seems like the insiders pushed him out of the race. Perdue isn't as conservative as I'd like, but he's certainly better than Jack Kingston, one of the most liberal members of the House GOP Caucus.

Okay, I may need to rethink my decision then. But why is Kingston better? I usually support businessmen over career politicians.

He has proven he'll vote conservative.  He's not the most conservative in the world, but stuff like omnibus, Ryan-Murray, and others, he's proven to hold tough.  Again, he's still in RINO status, but nothing close to Perdue.

Being a businessman doesn't make you a better candidate.

Is it still fairly civil? I just don't want Nunn to win by default.

I don't think Nunn will win. She's good for the libs as she provides a minor distraction for us, but make no mistake she has no shot at winning. Undecideds break heavily Republican especially in Georgia.

She's running from committing to any answers.  It's hilarious.
