In today's San Diego Union Tribune, an article quoted the Tri-City TP as advising it's members to vote against Darrell Issa and Carl DeMaio and to vote for Democrats instead. In Issa's case, the reason given was that Issa voted to raise the debt ceiling. In DeMaio's case they said, "Carl DeMaio would do more damage to the GOP platform than Democrat Scott Peters". Hmmmm.

If it was 2012, you did not find it. DeMaio did not run in 2012.

Oh where oh where has that little troll gone, oh where oh where can he/she/it be?
Ya gotta love it, the lib comes in with an agenda of stirring up a TEA forum, with a two year old story, claiming it just happened.
Hey Gery, San Diego's Mayoral race was in 2012, you're a couple of years late.

Who said anything about a 2 year old Mayors race? Why would I post something that was so old? Here is the link: http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2014/oct/12/tp-tea-party-group-refuses-to-back-demaio-or-issa/ (http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2014/oct/12/tp-tea-party-group-refuses-to-back-demaio-or-issa/)

Why should any of us care about very local politics?

I think it was about a TEA party supporting a D over an R. He probably doesn't understand why the TEA is trying to get some R's out of the party that they see as being like democrats.

Exactly! Mayoral and Governorship's are stepping stones to higher office, cutting RINO off at the source, is what's needed.
We have some solid Conservatives out here in Ca, but the GOP leadership is stupid, they think the only way to win, is to put up a moderate/liberal, which is why this state continues to fail, no one wants them.
