This is just another small piece in the GOP taking a majority in the senate. One can bet their last dollar that Mary Landrieu would not have repaid $34K if the heat was not turned up. LA is about the last southern state that democrats have some sway. That is because there is more union activity in that state. If the GOP can take LA it will provide some leeway for the close NC race.
